Who Are We?
HILAAL TV is a free to air Islamic TV channel broadcasted in English. We aim to provide premium content dedicated to all Muslims in Africa. HILAAL TV’s values are based on balanced principals presenting God’s commandments and the principals of interacting and coexisting with one another.
Our intentions are to; protect and safeguard the Islamic way of life, correct misconceptions whilst presenting solutions and avenues of justice, spread peace and doing good.
We have a great understanding of the diverse needs of Muslims on the continent, and intend to produce content that is entertaining and informative for all ages in the territory, presenting the true message of Islam.
Translating and explaining the Arabic scriptures in simple context which is suitable to our current times and culture, hosting a variety of men and woman scholars that represent all the schools of thought, with an emphasis on highlighting the rich African Muslim tradition and culture.
Addressing urgent needs and priorities of religious matters that affect all Muslims, protecting the true teachings of Islam whilst respecting the different views of all the scholars;
